Fancy throwing a Torana A9X across the top of Mount Panorama but don’t have a racecar lying around?

Luckily any number of console games have you covered these days with Mount Panorama being included in numerous titles. One being the sixth incarnation of the popular Forza Motorsport title for Xbox. And with a slowly growing catalogue of Aussie cars its easier than ever to jump in some homegrown muscle.

It features such homegrown classics as the XB GT Falcon, HSV GTS, Brabham BT24 and the full complement of Supercar marques. Since launch there has been the additions of some Holden favourites such as the HQ Monaro GTS 350, VL Group A SV Commodore and A9X Torana.

All cars are fully upgradeable and you can tune the setup till you’ve got the car you want, throw new livery on and hit the track.

And it’s not just the fabled ribbon of tarmac just outside of Bathurst, you can also try and tame legendary circuits such as Laguna Seca, Virginia International Raceway, Sebring, Watkins Glen, Monza, Spa de Francorchamps. And if that’s not enough there’s always the 21km Nurburgring Nordschleife known affectionally as the “Green Hell”. And at the end of the day if you get it wrong, there’s always the restart button.
