PricingP of these three cars was intriguing. The Premier X2 was the top model in Holden’s lineup and retailed at $3110 plus on-roads, less if you based your X2 on the Special sedan. Meanwhile, the Ford Falcon 500 retailed at $3063 with the V8 and automatic gearbox, with that price rising to $3453 if you opted for the Fairmont version with the V8. The Valiant V8 was by far the most expensive at $3716, quite a premium at the time.
