Windsor RSL Speedway
NSW is now considered to be within greater Sydney, but back in the sixties it was still a long way from the growing metropolis. Regardless, what evolved into the production sedan category began at the small town of Windsor near the Hawkesbury River. Here a dirt track was built on a vacant block next to the local RSL club. Which explains why this circuit was officially known as the Windsor RSL Speedway.
