only 500 people have ac­tu­ally ever been to space. yet that is about to change, if com­man­der bran­son is to be be­lieved, with sev­eral hun­dred brave souls hav­ing booked tick­ets on vir­gin galac­tic’s maiden voy­age this spring. As ev­ery­one from elon musk’s Space X to Boe­ing de­vel­ops the tech to bring space travel to the masses, that num­ber will only grow, too.
