This is Samsung’s answer to Newsstand, a bespoke digital magazine hub just for Tab S owners to start with, but eventually rolling out to all Galaxy tabs. You’ll soon be able to get all your favourite magazines there, including AustralianT3.
Want to check your phone, but it’s upstairs charging? This slick connected app mirrors your handset’s screen on your Tab S, where you can even answer calls or send texts. It’s a smart idea, but it’s not yet reliably smooth and can often stutter to a stop.
Who can resist a crocodile with a saw for a snout? Not us. Yet the way the Tab S can limit what your kids see is what really appeals. Showing up as it’s own app on your Home screen, the walled garden is simple to set up, with customisation to suit all draconian levels.
