The Macan Turbo’s 3.6-litre V6 catapults it to 100km/h in 4.8 seconds. That’s enough acceleration to put a bat up the nightdress of Porsche’s iconic 911. It’s hardly surprising, with
298kW packed into a compact SUV.
2/ All-road excellence
A family estate, sports car and off-roader all rolled into one car? That’s only possible thanks to the Macan’s clever active suspension system, known as PASM. It continually adjusts damping force to all four wheels, allowing the Macan Turbo to seamlessly shift from autobahn
motoring to country track manoeuvring.
The Macan gets Porsche’s latest in-car kit including Communication Management’s seven-inch touchscreen interface. Options include a 40GB hard drive for up to 5,000 locally stored MP3 tracks, a digital TV tuner, DAB radio and 3D mapping, with real-time
traffic data included.
