Design studio Priestmangoode reckons it’s sorted out cramped airline cabins once and for all – and the answer was in that fiddly overhead control panel.

The new svelte, iPhone-alike PSU – or “personal service unit” if you’re in the air racket, handing out fans, call buttons, fasten seat belt signs and oxygen masks – is now seat-specific, rather than feeding into a cabin-long, spacegobbling central system.
