Engi­neer­ing firm EDAG wants man­u­fac­tur­ers to re­assess the ma­te­ri­als they use for ve­hi­cle outer shells. This Light Co­coon con­cept wraps a light­weight weath­er­proof fab­ric de­signed by Jack Wolf­skin over a 3D-printed shell. We’re not sure it would meet many safety stan­dards, but it’s a classy ex­er­cise in light­weight de­sign. could soon be over. The EXP 10 Speed 6 is a nod to­wards an As­ton Mart­in­both­er­ing speed ma­chine. There’s no of­fi­cial word on en­gines, but a Bent­ley source told T3 it would fea­ture a hy­brid pow­er­train to chase a younger, more en­vi­ron­men­tally savvy au­di­ence. time it takes to fill a nor­mal car with fuel. An all-elec­tric range of 998 kilo­me­tres and speeds of 199km/h are claimed.
