Heavy Vehicle Industry Australia (HVIA), the owners and organisers of the 2017 Brisbane Truck Show has announced the return of Bauer Trader Media as the exclusive event Media Partner.
Bauer publishes many of Australia’s favourite automotive, transport and industry magazines, websites and digital newsletters. The stable includes Australasian Transport News and its website
fullyloaded.com.au, and Australia’s favourite truck-stop conversation starter,
Owner//Driver magazine. For Bauer Trader Media, the resigning provides further evidence of its commitment to supporting the Australian transport industry.
“As Australia’s leading transport and logistics industry publisher, Bauer Group is delighted to again partner with the nation’s premier transport industry event, organised by industry for industry,” Graham Gardiner, General Manager, Transport & Machinery, says.
“The 2015 Show was another outstanding success, with some 38,000 decision-makers and visitors pouring through the turnstiles.
“Visitors delivered glowing reviews of the event, and exhibitors talked of best-ever sales, leads and networking opportunities.
“Bauer Trader Media looks forward to again partnering with HVIA to deliver another outstanding Show.”
Brisbane Truck Show Manager Noelene Bradley was pleased to confirm the renewed partnership, saying Bauer has always been innovative in adding value to the event.
“This year Bauer are adding an extra level of interaction for visitors in the lead-up to the event with the new Brisbane Truck Show hub,” Bradley says.
“The online directory is full of stories, images and information covering everything visitors to the show will want to see, and unveiling all the attractions in the lead up to the show.”
The 2017 Brisbane Truck Show runs from Thursday 25 to Sunday 28 May at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre (BCEC).
MORE THAN 300 EXHIBITORS
The 2017 Brisbane Truck Show will feature more trailers than ever before, with expanded displays and new exhibitors from all over Australia confirmed.
Bradley says visitors will not be disappointed with the displays.
“The show is set to exceed expectations with bigger, better displays by leading truck and trailer manufacturers and more big announcements in the pipeline,” she says.
“This is the industry’s premier event and there is no doubt that all of our exhibitors are going all out to provide visitors with a memorable experience.”
The show is renowned for the big deals that happen on the floor and in truck and trailer dealers and manufacturers’ hospitality suites.
However, there are many complementary products and services on display that play no less a part in the show’s success.
“The show takes up three full floors of the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre. Every corner of the show offers more value and intrigue with exhibitors displaying the latest trucks, trailers, components, equipment, accessories and technology,” Bradley adds.
SETTLED AT BCEC
The 2017 Brisbane Truck Show will the fourth to be held at Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Last year, HVIA, owner and manager of the event, locked in the venue until at least 2021.
At the opening of the 2015 show, then HVIA President (still CVIAQ at the time) Bob Martin announced the signing of the long-term commitment, saying the agreement with BCEC added further to the resilience and confidence of the heavy vehicle industry going forward into the next decade.
“This important agreement clearly reinforces our commitment to the show’s new home; one which industry has embraced,” Martin said. “The Brisbane Truck Show has now gained a true international profile, and this is evident by the number of international visitors and leaders of industry present.”
It has been another big year for the convention centre. BCEC was named ‘World’s Best Convention Centre’ at the International Association of Congress Centres (AIPC) APEX Awards in Nantes, France in October 2016.
Recently, the Queensland Government re-appointed AEG Ogden as managers of the award-winning venue for a further fiveyear period from July 1, 2017.
HVIA congratulates Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre on this well-deserved achievement and looks forward to celebrating its 50th year of the Brisbane Truck Show at the venue in May 25 to 28, 2017.
