Ben Stapleton was appointed the new MD infrastructure of international engineering and infrastructure advisory rm Aurecon in June.

Stapleton was the lead associate of advisory rm BRS until June this year, before starting his new role at Aurecon in the same month.

He has held senior leadership roles at both Jacobs and Sinclair Knight Merz in the past.

Aurecon says Stapleton’s appointment reects the rm’s commitment to provide user-focused, innovative systems to governments and private sector clients as they tackle current and future infrastructure challenges.

Over a month later, the company appointed Mieszko Iwaskow as its transport planning leader.

While being based in New Zealand, Iwaskow will lead Aurecon’s team of transport planners across the globe.

Iwaskow has industry experience in transport planning, project delivery, team leadership and management.

Mieszko says having worked the last decade in the client sector with New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA), he will “bring some great insights to support Aurecon’s client offering”. Ben Stapleton
