The Australian Rail Track Corporation (ARTC) has appointed Neil Burlison as the general manager nance of the new Inland Rail division.

Based in the ARTC Brisbane office, Burlison will be responsible for the nancial management of the Inland Rail project.

ARTC chief executive John Fullerton welcomed Burlison to the new role.

“Having worked for companies such as Origin Energy, ITS Energy Services and BP he has sound experience in joint venture negotiations and complex nancial models which will be an asset to the program,” Fullerton says.

Burlison will report to the new Inland Rail chief executive, a newly-created position that is yet to be lled.

Fullerton says that establishing a new Inland Rail division within the ARTC was a priority.

“With Inland Rail now fully funded, ARTC is putting in place structures, teams and systems that will support the delivery of Inland Rail to expected operation in 2024/25 and beyond,” Fullerton says.
