The boldly ambitious Barangaroo House, the latest venture from celebrity chef Matt Moran and hospitality group Solotel, offers up a one-stop-shop of drinking and dining, all housed in an award-winning design (by Sydney-based H&E Architects) that injects texture (it is clad in charcoaled timber) and greenery (cue the cascading vertical garden) into the fast expanding harbourside retail and dining destination. Spread across three storeys, there’s casual dining and drinking at ground level in House Bar, a seasonal menu under the stewardship of chef Cory Campbell (formerly of Noma and Vue de Monde) in the 180-seat Bea in the middle, and the sophisticated rooftop bar, Smoke, offering up cocktails and water views. baranga
