Avon Valley Gazette - - EDUCATION MATTERS -

DECIDING on where to send your child for further education is a big decision, says Helena College community relations director Julie Carlton.

“The fit has to be right for you and your child and the school has to meet your needs as a family and has to align closely with the values you support for your children,” she said.

“The vision for Helena College is to be a school where students are inspired to be the best they can be, where they are encouraged to develop the confidence, ability and passion to achieve their goals and to have the skills and commitment to leave a positive footprint on the world.”

Helena College aims to educate and inspire students to be the best they can be by providing a balanced focus on whole child development.

Parents and prospective students can find out more about the college by booking in for a tour, with two tours offered at each campus per term.

“We currently have limited vacancies for Year 8 students and we would love to welcome you to our great school, a rare and special bushland place with space to take our students on a journey of personal and academic growth,” Ms Carlton said.

“Members of the community are welcome to attend the 2015 International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme exhibition which runs from March 17-19.”

To book a tour, call 9298 9100 for senior school or 9299 6626 for junior school.
