One leading department store is self- service, unless you ask. Another has girls everywhere doing nothing near tills.
Why, if people are waiting? Simple solution: open tills and give people the service we expect.
Have some of what people want most – they expect to be served.
That’s why there’s more shoplifting and people walking out leaving trolleys. This is all because the store’s policy doe not put the customer first.
