Avon Valley Gazette - - SPORT -

WHO’S Got Snoop caused a minor upset when he took out the Anniversary Cup ( 520m) at Cannington Greyhounds last Saturday.

The blue fawn chaser from Chris Halse’s kennels got the jump on his rivals with a brilliant launch from box two which enabled him to avoid the jostling that occurred behind him.

By the time they hit the first turn Who’s Got Snoop was clear and shot away to a race- winning lead down the back straight. Dandalup Doll and race favourite Penny Monelli fought it out for the minors but Who’s Got Snoop was untouchable at the head of the field.

Who’s Got Snoop surged across the finish line more than four lengths ahead to score in a personal best time of 29.95.

Since his debut in August last year Who’s Got Snoop has managed to rack up 19 wins from 43 starts and more than $ 87,000 in stakes.
