WORLD- class tenor and former Mazenod College student Aldo Di Toro will perform with the school’s jazz band for One Enchanted Evening on October 1 at the Kalamunda Performing Arts Centre.

Originally growing up in Lesmurdie, Di Toro has taken his love of singing to the ultimate level since he graduated from the WA Conservatorium of Music and made his debut as Oronte in Alcina for the WA Opera at the Festival of Perth.

Although Di Toro now lives in Italy, he returns to his homeland regularly for opera performances.

He has sung with all the major opera companies in Australia, making his Opera Australia debut in 2007 singing Alfredo ( La traviata), a role he has subsequently repeated for the company.

One Enchanted Evening will feature a diverse repertoire from opera to jazz, contemporary to musical theatre, with surprise guest performances along the way.
