Treat for the taste buds

Avon Valley Gazette - - NEWS -

TASTE Bud Tours will be hosting special tours as part of Entwined in the Valley, giving visitors the ultimate Swan Valley experience.

The company will run three tours throughout the festival, with each one offering something different.

Owner Loris Harding said Entwined in the Valley was a great promotion for the region and unlike other festivals in the past, highlighted everything on offer.

“It’s a great concept,” she said.

“I’ve been in the Swan Valley for 20 years and this is the first event that has focused on everything and brings it all together, so people can see what the region is about.”

She said each of her tours was different and at each venue would have a “meet the maker” experience.

“At each venue we visit, we will have a member of the family or business who can explain the history and process behind the venue,” she said.

The Friday tour will feature a bush tucker style buffet, Saturday a specialty lunch created by the Urban Food Mafia at Funk Cider and a high tea lunch at Lavender Bistro and Boutique on Sunday.
