Man­ag­ing the land

MUN­DAR­ING Shire en­vi­ron­men­tal of­fi­cer Tracey Bell says a small prop­erty man­age­ment work­shop will pro­vide stock own­ers and land man­agers with knowl­edge and skills.

“The work­shop will show­case three dif­fer­ent prop­er­ties in the Shire, all with dif­fer­ent man­age­ment chal­lenges,” Ms Bell said.

“It will be a great op­por­tu­nity for land­hold­ers to net­work, share their ex­pe­ri­ences and pick up some great tips and in­for­ma­tion from our ex­perts.”

The work­shop will fea­ture a bus tour of three horse prop­er­ties and top­ics cov­ered will in­clude prop­erty ca­pac­ity, na­tive veg­e­ta­tion and pas­ture man­age­ment.
