Big crowd counts

Avon Valley Gazette - - SPORT -

SWANS chief executive Jeff Dennis wants to see more than 3000 people flock through the gates for Count Me In round.

It will be the first time WAFL league, reserves, colts and integrated football teams will be facing off on the same day at Steel Blue Oval. Streaming radio station Footy Radio will be broadcasting.

Dennis said High Wycombe and Coolbinia players would be training at the club on July 12.

“What we are trying to achieve is the opportunity to celebrate people with disability and build a connection with the club and people with disabilities and their families and carers.”

The WAFL took on Count Me In based on the club’s example.
