HAVE YOUR SAY
ONLINE: SURVEY: DETAILS INSIDE
QUEENSLAND is edging closer to an election and The Balonne Beacon wants readers to share their opinions on the issues that matter to them.
This week, The Balonne Beacon and its network of sister community papers across the state, is launching the Queensland Votes – Have Your Say online survey.
We want readers to share their views on a comprehensive range of issues – from education and health, to transport, emergency services and recreation.
We have combined with Quest Community Newspapers in the Brisbane region and our News Corp regional community newspapers to reach readers across 32 sites – from the Whitsunday Times in the north, to the Albert & Logan News in the south, from the Wynnum Herald in the east to the Western Times in Charleville in the west.
This is your opportunity to tell candidates whether we need to tackle congestion on your roads, better aged care, upgrades to health services or more schools.
Through the survey, we will be able to let Queensland candidates know what matters most to you – at both a state and a hyper-local level.
We will also deep-dive into the results and publish our analysis of your answers.
The survey is an opportunity for readers to let their would-be representatives know what is on their minds and we will take these results to the candidates for their views.
Completing the survey will ensure our politicians hit the campaign trail with your thoughts ringing in their ears.
Readers who complete the survey before September 8 go into the draw to win a $250 Coles Myer voucher.
Don’t miss this great opportunity.
