FAM­ILY-friendly movies Wreck-it Ralph and Sing will be screened on the night and there will be plenty of fun on the side.

2. Balonne Shire Coun­cil auc­tion

BALONNE coun­cil is putting the ex­cess and ob­so­lete stock from its St Ge­orge de­pot up for auc­tion, so come along and bag your­self a bar­gain. WHEN: Septem­ber 9, 10am. WHERE: St Ge­orge coun­cil de­pot.

3. Nindigully Cam­p­draft

THE com­pe­ti­tion will be fierce, the cat­tle will be lively and the bar is op­er­at­ing all week­end.

Don’t miss out on all the ac­tion at the an­nual Nindigully Cam­p­draft.

Campers are re­minded there are no pow­ered sites avail­able and they are en­cour­aged to bring gen­er­a­tors.

4. Ten­nis club open tour­na­ment

MEN’S and ladies’ sin­gles, dou­bles and mixed dou­bles, with a spe­cialty nov­elty event for mixed adult and child dou­bles.

Cash prizes are up for grabs for win­ners, run­ners-up and semi­fi­nal­ists, so don your ac­tivewear and sweat­bands and head to the courts this week­end.

The com­pe­ti­tion is run in conjunction with the St Ge­orge Ju­nior De­vel­op­ment Se­ries.

COME and sup­port this sui­cide preven­tion char­ity that re­minds peo­ple that hav­ing mean­ing­ful con­ver­sa­tions with mates and loved ones could save lives There are two events next week, so get along and sup­port the causes at the St Ge­orge Men’s Shed and Ste­vie Jeans on Wed­nes­day and Thurs­day next week re­spec­tively.
