Nom­i­nate for the young achiev­ers award now

SEPTEM­BER wel­comes the launch of the Queens­land Young Achiever Awards.

The pur­pose of the awards is to ac­knowl­edge, en­cour­age and most im­por­tantly pro­mote the pos­i­tive achieve­ments of young peo­ple across the state.

Nom­i­na­tions for the award opened on Septem­ber 12 with lo­cals en­cour­aged to put for­ward com­mu­nity mem­bers who have helped make a dif­fer­ence or strived to achieve their goals.

To be el­i­gi­ble for the awards, the in­di­vid­ual must be younger than 29 as of the end of De­cem­ber 2017.

There are mul­ti­ple cat­e­gories for which an in­di­vid­ual can be nom­i­nated.

Nom­i­na­tions must be com­pleted by De­cem­ber 15 and the awards cer­e­mony will be held in May next year.

Each cat­e­gory comes with a sep­a­rate prize with the win­ner to re­ceive $2000 and a mag­nif­i­cent tro­phy.
