ST GE­ORGE po­lice are host­ing a fundrais­ing evening at the St Ge­orge Ho­tel on Fri­day, Oc­to­ber 27, to sup­port the youth of St Ge­orge.

The funds raised will be in­cor­po­rated into the highly suc­cess­ful St Ge­orge po­lice blue light pro­gram.

Fu­ture State of Ori­gin and star player, Ti­tans half­back Ash­ley Tay­lor will be at­tend­ing and has do­nated a pair of his footy boots and a jer­sey that can be per­son­ally signed by him on the night.

Ash­ley is from the area, so many lo­cals will be keen to come and speak with him re­gard­ing his achieve­ments in the NRL.

St Ge­orge Po­lice are hop­ing the event is well sup­ported and much-needed funds can be raised to sup­port lo­cal youth.

A num­ber of raf­fles and other events will be con­ducted and a live band will play into the evening.

On Satur­day, Oc­to­ber 28, Tay­lor will be con­duct­ing a rugby league clinic at St Pat’s School for 8-14 year olds.

Cost is $5 per child, boys and girls are wel­come to at­tend.

The clin­i­cic will run from 8-9am for 8–9 year olds and 9.30-10.20am 10–14 year olds.
