occurred at a house in Gillies Street, Zillmere on Thursday, July 13 between 9-10.30am. Entry was gained through an unlocked rear screen door and cash was stolen.
A SECURED garage area of a unit block in Kitty Hawk
Drive, Chermside was entered on July 12 between 5-5.30am. A number of storage areas were broken into by forcing doors. No property is known to be stolen at this time.
IN Carseldine division one attempted burglary, one attempted car theft and three burglaries occurred. On July 10 a flyscreen was cut at a property at Diamantina Crescent, Fitzgibbon but entry was not gained. On July 15 two break-ins occurred at Meridian Place, Bald Hills; someone was arrested in relation to these incidents. Also on July 15 at Elliot Street, Carseldine someone was arrested and charged with attempting to steal a vehicle.
BOONDALL Police attended 10 calls for service in relation to domestic violence in the past week. Three people were charged with breaching a domestic violence order, one police application was made both incidents and for another robbery at a licensed venue earlier this year in Aspley. He has been remanded in custody and will appear in court in August.
BOONDALL police intercepted one driver of an unregistered, uninsured vehicle, one disqualified driver and three unlicensed drivers.
CARSELDINE police charged one person with a high range speeding offence. A 27-yearold man was charged with driving 112km/hr in a 70km zone on Sandgate Road, Boondall. He was also issued with traffic infringement notices for failing to display red P plates and failing to comply with loading requirements.
A BREAK-IN occurred between July 9 and 13 at a unit in Ethel Street, Chermside by forcing a rear door. Household items were stolen.
