FUN AT PARK DAY
HUNDREDS of families attended a morning of free school holiday activities in Fitzgibbon last week.
The event was held in Hidden World Playground and included activities for all ages, Street Science workshops, free face painting, craft and games.
The School Holiday Fun Day was hosted by Bracken Ridge Ward Councillor Amanda Cooper.
“This event allowed local families to enjoy a fun morning in the park with lots of free activities for all ages and I am proud to be able to host this event through funding obtained by the Lord Mayor’s Suburban Initiative Fund.
“We were excited to have local businesses and community groups involved, including Street Science and the Bracken Ridge Library.
“We were also pleased to have Jabiru bringing their pop-up Playbus to the event, which provided interactive games for everyone.”
