Goth ice cream

The coolest new trend sweep­ing so­cial me­dia this sum­mer is black ice cream. Nick­named ‘goth ice cream’, its jet-black colour can be achieved us­ing co­conut ash or black sesame.


Glow-in-the-dark food

Yes, you read that right – ap­par­ently it’s not just for Hal­loween! Dis­ney re­cently started sell­ing glow-in-thedark can­dyfloss at its theme parks around the world, while Black Star Pas­try in Aus­tralia is now sell­ing ‘glonuts’ (glow-inthe-dark dough­nuts).


Cof­fee in ev­ery­thing but a cup

Ear­lier this year, we saw cof­fee served in an ice cream cone. Now peo­ple are putting it in av­o­cado shells (the ‘avolatte’) and even in hol­lowed-out car­rots. Come on, hasn’t this gone too far? !

Gin & tonic with a twist
