SERVES 4 PREP 10 mins COOK 15 mins EASY V Bring 500ml whole milk to the boil in a saucepan then take it off the heat. In a large bowl, beat to­gether 4 egg yolks, 75g sugar, 3 tbsp corn­flour and the seeds from 1 vanilla pod. Slowly pour the hot milk onto the egg yolk mix­ture, whisk­ing all the time. Pour ev­ery­thing back into the saucepan and cook for 8-10 mins, stir­ring all the time un­til the mix­ture is thick and smooth.
