Slingsby’s rhubarb Gin

The epit­ome of Bri­tish­ness, Slingsby’s Rhubarb Gin (£39.99) uses Har­ro­gate spring wa­ter and rhubarb grown within the York­shire Tri­an­gle to cre­ate this sweet-tart gin with a gen­tle cit­rus tang. No fewer than 24 botan­i­cals, in­clud­ing rose­hip and grape­fruit, add to its unique­ness. Drink with elder­flower tonic and drop in a cou­ple of rasp­ber­ries. It’s worth a visit to Har­ro­gate to take the Gin Ex­pe­ri­ence – a lit­tle gin his­tory, mix­ing mas­ter­classes and, of course, tast­ing at the quirky Slingsby store.
