Do you need to drain canned pulses?
The ‘water’ canned beans are kept in is more of a salty brine. If you're adding the beans to a chilli or stew that could do with a bit of liquid and seasoning, then the pulses can be added, unrinsed, with as much brine as you need. For salads or sides when you want the beans by themselves, drain and rinse in a sieve under cold running water.
