Save on a cast-iron pan set,

BBC Good Food - - Contents -

I completely agree with Joanna Blythman’s article (October) – I can’t keep up with the number of national days dedicated to food! My social media is constantly full of trending hashtags and ‘well timed’ adverts from companies using ‘national days’ that they, as Joanna rightly says, often invent themselves to push sales. I think the British public would be much more engaged with national food days if it meant that whatever food the day was dedicated to was free – all day. National Pizza Day would be manic! I think we’d all be more than happy for this to be trialled… Rick Woska, London
