DESCRIBE YOUR WORK? I’m a director, creative director, designer and artist. WHAT ARE YOUR DESK ESSENTIALS? Sketch book, pencils and laptop. I like something living on my desk, such as a plant or fresh owers, rocks and pebbles that I have collected from my travels, books. WHAT IS UNIQUE ABOUT YOUR WORKSPACE? There is incredible natural light which pours into my o ce. The space is also lled with treasures, which I have collected over the years and continue to inspire me. WHAT’S THE VIEW? It overlooks the Sydney city skyline. DESCRIBE A TYPICAL DAY AT THE OFFICE. My days are lled with sketching and designing for new collections and special projects. There are meetings with the development team about the current collections, and emails keep me busy too. However, as a designer, you never stop thinking about what’s next and the endless possibilities. DO YOU ENTERTAIN CLIENTS OR VISITORS HERE? We’ve held a number of events at our Strawberry Hills studio. Last year we hosted a party for our 30th celebration. We’ve also held dinners for special occasions. WHAT IS A DREAM DESK PIECE YOU WOULD BUY RIGHT NOW? I would like to create a huge white resin desk for my o ce, designed specically for my needs. Desks are such a personal part of our lives and the way we work. IF YOU COULD LOCATE YOUR STUDIO ANYWHERE WHERE WOULD THAT BE? Overlooking the ocean, where I could dream, oat and nurture ideas.
