What did you most enjoy photographing for this issue? The fabric boxes for Cloth ( p113). I love the clean graphic lines that are contradicted by the various busy patterns. Your enduring inuences? My Dad, Mr Jack Horner himself. I see myself in him and how much he has inf luenced my work, play and life. Where is home for you? Bristol will always be home. It’s an important part of British grafti and street art, and breathes an air of creative inspiration. Work by artists such as Gregor Minto, Soker and Cheo blow me away every time I visit. Favourite local haunts? The Troubador in Manly, a tapas bar run by three guys with permanent smiles. Ultimate travel escape? To wander around Varanasi, India with my camera. The juxtapositions of life and death on the Ganges seem fascinating. On your viewing list? John Oliver, a satirical UK comedian who gets mistaken for an outspoken US politics critic. What’s inspiring you? Friends who are happy with their lives! Every one of them inspires me in some way. Their positivity is contagious.
