Benalla Ensign - - News -

An outback dunny featuring a mysterious pair of boots has won best photograph at the Benalla Camera Club’s Snapshot exhibition.

The Benalla Camera Club held the exhibition at this year’s Bald Archy display of non-conventional portraitures and handpainted art at the Swanpool Bowls Club.

The Snapshot exhibition included the work of 11 talented local photographers and included landscapes, wildlife and an array of interesting subjects.

However, it was the traditional outback dunny that gained the most attention and Benalla’s Barb Coleman took home first prize.

Local farmer Alan Neander was runner up, with his shots of Cape York receiving many positive reviews.

The Benalla Camera Club meets on the first Wednesday of every month.
