Show proves a

The 135th Be­nalla Show was held last week­end.

The crowds and ex­hi­bi­tions were much larger in scale than pre­vi­ous years and two com­mit­tee mem­bers re­ceived life­mem­ber­ship.

Coun­cil­lor Bernie Hearn of­fi­cially opened pro­ceed­ings last Fri­day lunchtime.

Jes­sica An­drews won the An­drew Dow­ell me­mo­rial tro­phy for high­point pony club rider 2017, which is spon­sored by the Dow­ell fam­ily. She was rid­ing Ban­bury Mud­lark.

Joel Pearce won the Ryan and McNulty Grand Prix and the Pat Hearn young horse stakes.

Com­mit­tee mem­ber Brad Hearn thanked ev­ery­one, es­pe­cially the spon­sors for their help in this year’s show.

Best in show win­ner: Charl­magne Jimmy Choo with han­dler Me­gan Pippa.
