Pastor introduces himself to city
that God who created the universe sent His Son Jesus Christ to die on a cross taking my place as a guilty sinner.
That morning I accepted Jesus Christ as my saviour, believing in him with all my heart.
When I graduated from high school I entered into education and worked as a high school teacher and later as a high school and primary school librarian.
It was in November 2008 that God began to show me that I should prepare for the ministry.
In 2009 my wife and I began studying at a Bible College in Sydney, which we attended part time for the next nine years.
In July 2017 I was invited to candidate for the position of Pastor of Rose City Baptist Church and was successful.
My wife and I, who were living in Engadine in Sydney at the time, immediately began organising to move to Benalla.
On December 2, 2017, Rose City Baptist Church had a special service to induct me as the sixth pastor of Rose City Baptist Church.
My wife and I count it a privilege to be used by God to serve him in the ministry and community of Benalla.
Since moving here we are thankful for the beautiful walkways, lovely shops, rose gardens, markets by the lake, as well as drives to surrounding towns and villages.
Coming from a farming background in Ireland, my wife particularly enjoys the herds of cattle and sheep as we take drives in the country.
Rose City Baptist Church provides many services for the local community of Benalla and the surrounding districts and all are most welcome to attend.
