The FCJ College community celebrated its annual Founders Day on Thursday, August 16.

Founders Day acknowledges and celebrates the arrival of the FCJ Sisters to Benalla and recognises the vitally important role they have had in the development of the College from 1900 to the present day.

Staff and students attended mass in St Joseph’s Church followed by activities on the college grounds including sack races, tunnel ball, staff vs students netball and tug o’war.

A barbecue lunch was provided as well as musical entertainment throughout the day.

Many staff and students said they thoroughly enjoyed the day, which continues to be a muchanticipated event on the FCJ College calendar.

Proud: FCJ Students take part in Founders Day at St Joseph’s Church.
