Career tips offered
Benalla P-12 College recently hosted its Senior School Information Night, and also devoted a full day to course counselling for students in Years 9, 10 and 11.
Mentor teachers, senior school leaders and the careers team had appointments with students and family members to review career action plans and oversee subject selections for 2019.
Year 9 students also took the opportunity to present their achievement portfolios to parents/carers and share their experiences from their career intensive program.
This day was extremely well attended and supported by the school community. Benalla P-12 College staff were also pleased to welcome a number of prospective students and families.
Executive principal Tony Clark said: ‘‘Benalla P-12 Col- lege is committed in preparing students for their academic career, social challenges and assisting them to become motivated learners’’.
