FCJ College has capped off a busy few weeks of ski trips. The VCE Outdoor and Environmental Studies classes recently returned from two days of crosscountry skiing around Falls Creek. Another group had a three-day trip to Falls Creek which included cross-country, downhill skiing and snowboarding. The purpose of these trips is to develop key skills in skiing, planning and participation as part of the curriculum. The Year 10 students also visited Mt Buller, and all students participated in a professional ski lesson followed by a day of downhill skiing. This was a new experience for many students, one which they said they really enjoyed.
