Greta ends All Blacks’ season
The All Blacks B-grade season has come to an end after a loss to Greta on Sunday.
The semi-final clash started with Greta taking an early lead which it held throughout, winning 45-33.
The Panthers kept within a seven-goal reach throughout the first and second quarters, before Greta stepped it up a notch to blow the margin out to 16 goals at three-quarter time, with the All Blacks only managing three majors.
It was an uphill battle from there for the All Blacks, who came out strong to shoot 13 goals in the last quarter — the most they scored in a quarter for the game. Greta now progresses to the preliminary final.
