Gang raises $13 000

Benalla Ensign - - VICTORIAN STATE ELECTION 2018 -

On Sun­day, Oc­to­ber 28, Benalla’s Ray­zor Gang walked and ran 21 km for Peter Mac’s Unite to Fight Can­cer to pro­vide funds for vi­tal re­search for those go­ing through treat­ment.

The Ray­zor Gang raised nearly $13 000 this year, mak­ing the to­tal since they started more than $42 000.

Or­gan­is­ers said the walk would not have been so suc­cess­ful if not for sup­port from their friends and fam­i­lies as well as a num­ber of spon­sors.

The event was spon­sored by the Railway Ho­tel Gooram­bat, Ret­tkes Meats, the Royal Ho­tel, Fo­bia In­dus­tries, Coast to Coast The Golden Roast Mel­bourne N/W and Matt at LS Pre­cast.

De­ter­mined: Benalla’s Ray­zor Gang on its walk to raise money for Peter Mac’s Unite to Fight Can­cer char­ity.
