The Benalla High School reunion for all students who attended from the 1940s to 1990s was enjoyed by all who attended, with organisers hailing it a big success.
‘‘I would like to thank all the people who attended the all Benalla schools reunion on October 13,’’ organiser Lorraine Crawford said.
‘‘We were able to visit the Benalla High School and be shown around by P-12 teacher, Wasyl Bihun.
‘‘We went through some of the rooms and the quadrangle, which all looked smaller than when we were all there.’’
People travelled from as far afield as Western Australia with many old friends reconnecting.
Ms Crawford said she would like to show her appreciation to the many businesses in Benalla that donated presents for the raffle.
‘‘I would also like to thank Bree of Goldhammer’s Catering, for her suggestions and advice,’’ she said.
‘‘There were 190 people at the reunion, certainly because of you it was very successful.’’
