SPLAY YOUR DISPLAY

Bird’s nest ferns are not designed to go unnoticed even in the shade. The apple-green fronds spray out long and broad in moist, humid environments and can be either epiphytic, so will grow out of trees, or terrestrial that want rich, well-drained soil. Use them as a sculptural design element in your garden with shadeloving flowering plants, such as orchids or bergenias.
