Actions of a second Garden Grove driver go viral
c A SECOND driver from South Australian company Garden Grove was dismissed this month due to unsafe driving practices.
Again the driver was exposed online after a fellow motorist shared shot of the outdoor supply truck overtaking on a solid white line.
Readers raised a number of questions, including the extent of the company’s responsibility. Christian H: “So the person who took the video are all squeaky clean in their actions, I don’t think so. Why is the camera angle over near the centre line? Maybe they need to be investigated as well!” Dion K: “I know plenty of good Garden Grove drivers.
“The problem you get when you have 160+ trucks not all your employees are going to be the best of the best, and some ruin it for all the others.” Quintin W: “That’s the problem now, to many bloody do-gooder narks with too much time on their hands with cameras and videos now days.
“All who think they are perfect drivers and will lag you quick as.
“They should of checked the load restraints on the snot on the flat top to while they were going.”
Dale M: “There is no excuse, half the heavy vehicle drivers out there shouldn’t be on the road!
“Having said that probably 70% of motorists should not be driving.
“Most people can’t even navigate a roundabout without crossing lanes!”
Tara Mc: “Yes he got caught but how many car drivers do this too?”
Vicki J: “If I were to post up all the incriminating evidence from my dashcam there’d only be trucks on the road.” Shayne C: “Old mate with the flattop probably called him around, or someone further out in front.”
SPOTTED: A second Garden Grove truck was caught out.
