Truckline’s range at your fingertips
AS MORE Australians head online to purchase goods and services, Truckline has entered the world of e-commerce with a new website giving customers another option for sourcing products and reaffirming the company as the leading provider of truck and trailer parts and accessories.
Truckline launched the new e-commerce site this week, featuring thousands of parts and accessories from the world’s most trusted and respected brands and with the promise of a userfriendly ordering system and swift delivery times.
“It is important our customers are able to access our products from wherever they are in Australia, even if they’re in a remote area,” Truckline general manager Mick Henderson said.
“This, and our 23 stores nationally, is giving us one of the greatest coverage available in the market.
“And with two distribution centres in Queensland and Western Australia, we will be able to process orders and ship them quickly, no matter where the customer is located.”
This month’s launch of the site represents the first stage of a phased rollout of Truckline’s product offering and site features, with stages two and three expected later this year.
The website has been designed to include product descriptions, specifications, features and benefits to help customers with their selections, speeding up the decision-making and buying process.
For those with specific inquiries or emergencies, there’s still a dedicated assistance line – 1300 552 525 – that puts customers through to their nearest Truckline branch for the expert advice they require.
Mick said it offers the opportunity for customers to truly appreciate the company’s vast inventory, with 25,000 different parts and accessories in stock, and new products to be added to the website every week.
The new-look site also provides the most up-to-date information about the top brands sold at Truckline, with videos, white papers, customer testimonials, staff and vendor stories, expert articles and product updates all adding to the customer experience and providing a one-stop shop for those who need the best parts and best advice.
“Truckline has a very loyal customer base, with 73% of our customers coming to us for more than five years, and we’re always looking to grow these numbers and show the truck industry how we can make a difference in their day-today operation,” Mick said.
“The whole team is very dedicated and working hard to always deliver on customer expectations.
“In addition to customer service, our priority is to provide quality parts – as we take our customers’ investment and safety very seriously – while keeping costs down.
“We believe this latest move into e-commerce is just an extension of this commitment.
“The option to buy online is what people have come to expect and as Australia’s leading provider of aftermarket truck and trailer parts, we are proud to be able to offer that service.”
Mick said usability, reliability and security had been front of mind in the design of the website and customers would find it easy to navigate and order, with the ability to compare products, view specials and read expert reviews.
Customers will also be able to have their own log-in and access their personal information such as pricing and preferred products.
“Our vision was to design a website so comprehensive that customers could use it as a guide for everything they need to know about their trucks,” Mick said.
“This is a never-ending job that will remain our benchmark for our present and future development.
“We’ve always thought about Truckline as a ‘solutions provider’ rather than just a parts retailer and when customers visit our new website they’ll see this in action.
“They can look after all their purchasing requirements and will also find so much more, right at their fingertips.”
