Adam McCulloch

Big Rigs - - TASSIE TRUCKIN’ -

“WELL after a long break off the road filling in my time as a welder a while back, I am really enjoying being back on the road again!”

Adam McCulloch from Whitemore was driving a virtually-new Hingston 2018 Scania G480 at the time and towing a tri-axle drop deck Tautliner with a load of wool when we saw him.

Adam told us he had loaded from out the back of Campbelltown and was on his way back to Whitemore, and he would take the load in to the Launceston wool stores on the following day.

He told us he has been with Hingston’s now for two-and-a-half years and that he is still loving it, (being on the road that is!) it is just a great job choice.

“Seriously they are a great crowd to work for, and with, there’s a heap of variety, working state wide, mainly agricultural work, so you get to meet some pretty nice people out there.

“I am really enjoying the new Scania, it’s a top truck and perfect for the job.

“Time off? Well I am trying to spend as much as possible home with the family and our new baby, Archie, who is just eight-weeks-old at the moment!”
