If you’re travelling south on the Ipswich motorway from Brisbane, you’ll find the head office, where the company has built more than 500 tandem and tri-axle dollies since manufacturing started just four years ago.

Beside the dollies they also retail and wholesale trailer and truck supplies – a veritable one stop shop for your trailer and truck running gear.

The ABS Trailquip engineering team works with customers to ensure their truck and trailer combination meet legal dimensions and requirements culminating maximum pay loads.

Determined to continuously improve product performance the ABS Trailquip dolly design has evolved into a tough, long lasting piece of equipment that will keep you on the road for years to come.

The team have been manufacturing on-site since the very beginning with the dollies being built from the ground up, welded, painted and fit-out to customer specifications.

Built to your preference, options include type of suspension, axles, spring or air suspension, and in tandem or triaxle configuration.

LED lights are installed as standard specification, and dollies can be fitted with plastic or flexi-type mud guards.

Majority of their dollies sold are specified to be fitted with the powerful, light weight, low maintenance Stability Air Suspension which is also manufactured on-site.

Let their experts’ help you identify any technical requirements that are both necessary and sufficient for your vehicle combination and operating conditions as they may differ substantially from those needed for another vehicle.

ABS Trailquip engineers are able to formulate an effective design solution whatever your needs.

Equipped with in-house quality control systems ABS Trailquip is certified to supply parts which conform to stringent Australian Design Rules (ADR Specification).

Their latest offering – an optional feature developed for the custom made dollies integrates a lift axle system, which lifts and lowers the centre axle and is available in both automatic and manual control.

Adding this system to your dolly will work towards reducing operation costs associated with trailer towing and increase fuel efficiency, tyre, wheel and brake lifespan.

While the market for converter dollies is highly competitive ABS Trailquip continues to gain sales momentum due, in large part, to their commitment to superior quality and after sales support.

ABS Trailquip employs around 20 people spanning their sales office and fabrication workshop.

The hand picked, talented team continues to skilfully lead the company into advanced growth within the trucking sector.

Managing director Michael Green puts it simply: “We provide a quality product for a competitive price and never compromise on safety.”

Their ideology has productively guided their rising reputation amongst the trucking industry generating clear results.

Its no surprise ABS Trailquips dedication has launched them to the prestigious number one market leader position throughout Australia.
