“WELL you have caught me on my last day here,” Stuart Lindsay from Launceston told us the other day.

“I have really enjoyed my five or six years working for Les Walkden, they are really a top outfit in every way, but it was time for a change and I have a great job lined up starting next week.”

He had rolled in to the Epping Forest Caltex at the time and was driving an eye-catching Les Walkden 2010 T-658 and towing a mini “B” timber Skels configuration with a load of plantation timber going from Dover to Foreco in Longreach, and then he would be knocking off for the day.

Stuart tells us he started driving 15 years ago in Queensland, and he reckons it has been a good job to him ever since and he has no regrets about his career.

He tells us he is an official at the speedway and his interests, which do take up his time off the road, are Sprint cars, motor bike riding and his family and kids.

We at Big Rigs would like to wish him good luck with his new position!
