Justin Crapper

Big Rigs - - TASSIE TRUCKIN’ -

Big Rigs was fortunate to catch up with Justin Crapper from Sebastian the other day at Bridgewater on Loddon in Victoria.

We found him heading out with a wide load from Wedderburn.

He was heading for Raywood with a triaxle drop-deck trailer loaded with oversized agricultural machinery.

Justin was driving a 1989 K-100E with a 425 Series 60 up front and his brother, Leigh, was doing the honours in the pilot vehicle for the road trip.

The brothers told me they were part of a family business in Sebastian which operated four trucks, carrying mainly grain and hay and agricultural freight, and that they were all keeping fairly busy.

“I also do a bit of work with mobile cranes and do a bit of farming,” Justin said.

“And after six years in the job, I’d have to say I’m happy all round, and no regrets at all.”

When asked what he likes to do when he gets some time off, Justin said he liked to spend it all with the family.
