Let’s give it to the farmers
“LETS give it to the farmers” is inspired by Buddy Goodes’ fantastic idea after finding a $2 coin in his washing machine.
I would like to announce and invite you all to be part of a community event to help out our fellow farmers and give back to the people who work so hard in the tough conditions this beautiful country serves up.
Let’s do something before we have another farmer’s life taken and make sure they know that we are here to help where we can.
This will not fix the problem but we can help and it may just stop another farmer having to sell and give up the land they work so hard for. While also acknowledging that we know the pressure and metal heath issues this is causing the great men and women of the land.
Buddy Goode has kindly offered his services for this event – will you?
So, what am I asking for? Presenters, donations, raffle prices, volunteers, guests appearances/ performances, food stalls, beverage, lighting, sound, contacts, face painting, tractor rides, Harley rides and the list goes on.
I am not a farmer, I am from a small farming town (130 people) just three hours from Sydney, four from Melbourne, and while we are not even close to the devastation that out brothers and sisters to the west and north are we can all help.
I have spoken to Brendan Farrell, founder of Hay Runners Australia, an amazing man putting the country and its people first at his own cost and time. He also on board. So how about you? To join, donate or for any questions please feel free to contact me at any time on 0455 330 611 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
