THE City of Free­man­tle is look­ing for a truck driver/labourer to join the de­pot based con­struc­tion and main­te­nance team.

The suc­cess­ful ap­pli­cant will as­sist with the im­ple­men­ta­tion of the works pro­gram for the re­pair and main­te­nance of the city’s in­fra­struc­ture, in­clud­ing but not lim­ited to, roads, foot­paths, drains and street fur­ni­ture.

The role will in­clude truck driv­ing, op­er­at­ing equip­ment, as­sist­ing with prepa­ra­tion for work sites and more.

You must hold a “clean” HR or MR li­cence and hold cer­tifi­cates for com­pe­tency for ex­ca­va­tor, skid steer loader and front end loader.

Ap­pli­cants must have a min­i­mum of two years ex­pe­ri­ence op­er­a­tion MR trucks and trail­ers, hold a valid MR ve­hi­cle li­cence and have rel­e­vant ex­pe­ri­ence haul­ing cargo.

CORESTAFF are seek­ing ex­pe­ri­enced dump truck op­er­a­tors to work in gold mines in the Pil­bara/Gold­fields and mid west re­gions of West­ern Aus­tralia.

Ap­pli­cants must have six to 12 months ex­pe­ri­ence op­er­at­ing Cat 777 or Kom 785 dump trucks.

CHAN­DLER Macleod needs ex­pe­ri­enced dump truck op­er­a­tors for roles based in the Hunter Val­ley re­gion.

You need a min­i­mum 12 months ex­pe­ri­ence on CAT 785 or Ko­matsu 839E or above and live within the fa­tigue zone – 60 min­utes travel time to the Muswell­brook area or be will­ing to re­lo­cate at your own ex­pense.

The job of­fers six weeks paid an­nual leave and 105 hours sick leave as per the Chan­dler Macleod Black Coal EA.

Shifts are 12.5 hours at a flat rate of $46.89 p/h.
